According to the National Fisheries Office, landings of inshore and artisanal fishery products declined by 15% in 2025 to settle at 1,132,801 tons. Thus, the sector's revenue stood at MAD 10.1 Bn during the same period declining by 4% compared to the previous year.

According to the National Agency for Statistics and Demography (ANSD), Senegal's Harmonized Consumer Prices Index for the month of December 2025 increased by 2.8% y-o-y. In 2025, the inflation rate in Senegal stood at 1.4% on average.
