| MOROCCO | VEHICLES | Sales up 37% at the end of July 2025
In July 2025, sales of new cars in Morocco stood at 19,713 units, up 38.6% compared to the same period of the previous year. At the end of July 2025, the cumulative sales show an increase of 36.5% to 131,739 units. In more detail, sales of passenger vehicles rose by 34.9% to 117,017 units and those of light commercial vehicles jumped by 50.9% to 14,722 units.
| WAEMU | INFLATION | An inflation rate of -0.2% in June 2025
According to the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO), the inflation rate in the WAEMU region stood at -0.2% during the month of June 2025 against 0.6% in May 2025. This is mainly driven by the decrease in the prices of “Food products and non-alcoholic beverages”, which went down from “+0.7%” in May 2025 to “-0.2%” in June 2025.
